Wishing all our friends a happy new year, filled with God's richest blessings

As we look forward to the challenges ahead of us in 2012, we thank God for all our special friends and supporters, who help make it possible for every child at LITTLE EDEN to receive unconditional love, respect and care.

DonateWe hope you will continue to support the children as you have always done in the past. And if this is the first time you are visiting our website, we hope you will become one of our special friends right now, by making your donation online.

Our children may not be able to run and jump and play like other children ... to understand books and sums and all the wonders of the world in which they live ... but they do know this: the most important thing in anyone's life is to be loved.

Despite their limited intellectual ability, our children understand that there will always be gentle hands to comfort and care for them. That they deserve happiness just as much as any other child.

And that’s what you give them whenever you support our work here at LITTLE EDEN.

Ours may be the hands that soothe and comfort. Ours are the voices that offer words of encouragement or songs to sing.

But without support from caring people like you, none of this would be possible.

You make miracles possible

Owami

Owami, has taken to his feet and is almost walking - thanks to support from friends like you who contribute towards the cost of therapy and ongoing care.

Although he has a deformed foot, with the help of a special shoe, daily strengthening exercises and lots of encouragement from his physiotherapist –
Owami is almost ready to take his first independent step.

Koketso

Another child who’s thriving at LITTLE EDEN is Koketso. Two years ago she came to us with a very poor prognosis – it seemed unlikely that she would ever do more than lie quietly on her back. But over the past two years, she has learned to sit, makes cute baby sounds and now plays happily with her toys.

Thanks for being part of the love that enfolds these special children – and gives them the spirit to be the best they can be.
