If you were privileged to be in the audience at last year’s Christmas concerts, you’ll remember how incredibly moving they were!
Music therapists, Marie-Victoire Cumming and Karen de Kock once again found creative themes to showcase the children’s unique abilities and the new skills they’ve learned. At Domitilla and Danny Hyams Home, the action was set in the Garden of Eden, with the cutest flowers, butterflies, birds and bees, not to mention a soccer game! Vivaldi’s Four Seasons was the inspiration at Elvira Rota Village, ending with spring which led into the story of the nativity with its message of new birth for mankind.
Although very different, both concerts had the same joyful spirit shining through, leaving audiences in no doubt that these children and adults know how to make the best of life despite their disabilities.
