Christmas is just around the corner – and we need your help to make sure that when Santa visits our Homes, he’ll have enough brightly wrapped gifts to go round!

This is the time of year when excitement is in the air at LITTLE EDEN. When the bell is rung to let the children know Santa is on his way, you can almost taste it! But, with many of our friends affected by the rising cost of living, fewer are coming forward with gifts for the children. Please consider sponsoring one or more gifts so that no one is left out.

As a guide, these are some of the items that our residents would appreciate:

Clothing:
Underpants/panties: cotton full-briefs ONLY (not hipster, tanga, G-string etc)
Boys 10 and 12-year old
Girls 10 – 12 year old
Adults S M L

Socks (NOT secret socks): all sizes from 5 years to adult
Pyjamas for Boys and Girls, Men and Women from 6 years old to adult large
Trainers (sport shoe type): children from size 9 and adults up to women size 8 and men size 9
Towelling nappies

Toys:
Generally toys that are suitable for under 3 years old. Please NO battery operated toys, NO Barbie dolls, NO soft fluffy toys (we have too many!)

• Paints for finger painting
• Colouring in books (with big simple pictures)
• Pencil crayons (not wax crayons)
• Pencil sharpeners
• Scissors (round nose)
• Strong newborn soft Baby dolls
• Any type of balls and ball games. (Heavy soccer balls are not suitable)
• Small metal cars which can fit into a child’s hand
• Large plastic cars and trucks
• Musical instruments
• Sandpit plastic toys: small and large spades and buckets
• Plastic toy telephones and shop tills
• Infant activity boards – noise reactive
• Infant push along and pull toys
