In her virtual presentation at the 15th Session of the COSP Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, which took place at the UN Headquarters in New York in June, LITTLE EDEN CEO, Xelda Rohrbeck, spoke about the impact of the global pandemic on those we serve.
“Although the pandemic had an impact on all members of society,” she said, “There was a far greater risk for children and adults with intellectual disabilities and high-support needs.”
“Despite this, LITTLE EDEN was able to adapt and offer continued activities and services to our beneficiaries, remaining connected through various cultural and sporting activities.”
