Hospital beds, an Ear Nose and Throat set, oxygen concentrators, infusion equipment, pulse oximeters, hot air sterilizer, suction machine, haemoglobin monitor, ultra violet sterilizer, needle destroyer, examination lamp, bed screens and an emergency trolley are just some of the medical equipment we need to buy to ensure the most sickly and vulnerable among our ‘angels’ receives the best possible care.
Add to this medical consumables such as nebulizing equipment, hypodermic needles, syringes, crepe bandages, micropore plasters, dermalon suture, cotton wool and ear buds – plus masks, plastic aprons, and hand disinfectant for staff – and you’ll understand why we hope to raise around R50 000 towards medical costs through the efforts of Team LITTLE EDEN in the Discovery 947 Ride Joburg cycle race.
Members of the team are committed to pedalling for the angels of LITTLE EDEN. But they need your help! Please support them by making your contribution towards this vital need now.
Most of our residents with profound intellectual disability come from indigent families or have been abandoned. LITTLE EDEN is financially responsible for all their needs – and it costs R12 700 a month to provide specialised 24 hour care and therapy, which can be equated to frail care.
We rely on caring members of the public to join together with us to ensure that these special children and adults get all the care they need … for the rest of their lives.
Your contribution of any amount helps keep them safe and comfortable. So please, donate a smile today!
