Wednesday 25 January 2023 was the day we’d all been waiting for – the official opening of our new Medical Centre.
We really can’t thank you enough for the part you played in making this dream a reality. Although the cost of construction was covered by a very generous sponsorship gift from Thinkst Applied Research (Pty) Ltd, we still had to raise the funds to furnish and equip the building … and that’s where your generous support was such a blessing. Thank you!
Speaking at the opening ceremony, LITTLE EDEN CEO, Xelda Rohrbeck, explained that staff members had been invited to help choose a suitable name for the new Medical Centre. Bophelong (meaning ‘a place of health’) was the one selected. “Bophelong Medical Centre will provide enhanced medical care for our residents,” she said
Xelda thanked all individuals and corporates who contributed towards the new centre, including Netcare Foundation which donated vital monitors and other medical equipment.
Even though the centre is now open, donations are most welcome, as we still need additional equipment to provide our special angels with the best medical care possible.
